General
• All prices include VAT and P&P except where indicated
• All finished image products, including wedding albums, must be paid for in advance to cover costs to Imageplay Photographic
• Prices stated on this site and in the Imageplay Photographic Brochure are subject to change in response to price variations from suppliers.
• Reasonable expenses may be charged for longer distance assignments (an accurate quote will always be given prior to booking)
Rendering of images
Photographs will be rendered in either colour or black & white according to the overall feel, context and composition of the image and it’s place in the proceedings. Special effects may also be applied including soft-focus, split-toning and vignettes at our discretion. If you require images in an alternative rendering these will be supplied free of charge within reason (5-6% of the total number of images), though a fee will be charged for large numbers of alternative renderings.
Proofing of images
For all wedding bookings a DVD ROM of finished images will be made available to the client approximately 2 weeks after the wedding day. In the case of albums, print orders, DVD authoring and digital frame service, the client will be asked to supply a list of file numbers approved for inclusion in the album/prints etc. A printed set of images can be supplied as contact sheets (20 images per A4 sheet) on photographic paper for an additional fee of £5.00 per sheet up to 8 sheets and £3.50 thereafter.
Sequencing of images
It is assumed that the sequence of images for albums/DVDs/Digi-frames will be at the discretion of Imageplay Photographic and that images will be presented in as near to chronological order as album design etc allows. If the client wishes images to be in a specific order, this order must be communicated to Imageplay Photographic in written form during the ordering process as alterations after this point may incur additional costs.
Engagements and Pre-Wedding Shoots
Engagement and pre-wedding shoots can be arranged as an addition to an hourly wedding booking and will be charged as £95.00 p/h plus additional travelling expenses for longer distance assignments. Where a pre-wedding portrait shoot is included as part of a wedding photography package, this will take place at the same time as the pre-wedding consultation.
Pre-Wedding Consultation
A face-to-face consultation is included in all of our Wedding Packages following the payment of a 25% deposit and confirmation of the booking. Consultations can be arranged either in your own home or at a venue of your choice at a mutually convenient time, however we reserve the right to charge a fee when this involves excessive travel. Face-to-face consultations can also be arranged for non-package bookings, however this will be strictly at our discretion where the overall fee is below £400.00. Face-to-face consultations prior to the payment of a 25% deposit are also strictly at our discretion. In the event that a face-to-face consultation is impractical we find that the overwhelming majority of queries can be answered via either telephone or email.
Limit of Liability
In the unlikely event that the photographer is injured or becomes too ill to photograph the event, Imageplay Photographic will make every effort to secure a replacement photographer. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package. Imageplay Photographic takes the utmost care with respect to the exposure, transportation, processing and storage of images. However, in the unlikely event that images have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons within or beyond Imageplay Photographic’s control, Imageplay Photographic’s liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event package. The limit of liability for a partial loss of originals shall be a pro-rata amount of the images lost based on the percentage of total number of originals.
Wedding Photography Agreement
It is important that the client reads the wedding photography agreement carefully prior to signing. While Imageplay Photographic will endeavor to resolve any misunderstandings, we cannot guarantee to do so when these arise from the client’s failure to read the conditions laid out in the agreement
